Only 6349 steps/3.8 miles today. But that's all part of takin' it easy, huh? LOL Well, at least I worked out this morning even though I didn't feel like it. I only did 20 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of stretch and crunches.

I made zoodles twice today. Once for lunch w/ mini meatballs and alfredo sauce, then for dinner w/ chicken and mushrooms. Both times delish. Snacked on peanuts and string cheese. Only drank 8 glasses of water.

Prevention.com Message Boards

I'm feeling a little tired today but still did my walk, 30 minute aerobics and 20 minutes S/S/C. I must admit though that my aerobic workout was a little subdued and not as high energy as yesterday's. Having my pb smoothie as I type.
I think I'm still fighting that doggone bug from last week. Still with the scratchy throat, but at least the sinuses and head are clearer.

I clocked 14,954 steps today. That's 6.84 miles. I did my usual workout this morning - half a mile walk w/ Boojie, 30 minutes aerobic workout, followed by 10 minutes stretching and 60 crunches. No strength workout today. PB smoothie for bf. Went across the river w/ Sharon and Annie. Drove to the ferry and walked to St Charles streetcar, rode to Oak St., walked to store then back to La Madeliene's for lunch. I had the spinach salad w/ salmon. It was good. Also had a glass of mango tea. Yum. Rode streetcar back to Canal St and walked back to ferry. Drove to the second hand store and wandered the aisles for a while. Had leftover ribs and faux potato salad for dinner and string cheese for snack.

Just finished my workout. Walked Boojie a half mile. Aerobics for 30 minutes. Bond's "Shine" album is great for working up a sweat! Another 20 minutes strenth/stretch/crunches.
For the record my S/S/C includes:
Standing:
20 arm curls, 20 reverse arm curls, 20 overhead lifts, 20 lateral rows, 20 side rows (10 each side), 20 squats.
On Floor:
20 arm flys, 20 arm lifts, 60 crunches, 20 reverse crunches, 60 reverse leg lifts, 40 hip lifts
And various stretches to include all major muscle groups especially back, hips and butt.
Yeehaa! Starting a brand new week off on the right foot! Lost 5 lbs and 5 inches this past week!
 
Yesterday I only clocked a little over 5,000steps/2.5 miles. But I still am not drinking alcohol.
 
I'm off to walk Boojie and start my workout.

Well, I've decided to take today off. Not from the Beach but from working out. I usually walk Boojie about a quarter mile but today we went a little further and went almost 3/4 of a mile. Got home and did some stretching and have decided to take the rest of the day to just relax. Hubby and I will go out for brunch/lunch at the steak house. I plan to have the 6oz sirloin with caesar salad and steamed veggies and a diet cola. I usually bring back a few nibbles from my steak for Boojie. The rest of the day will be spent playing couch potato. I've got a few hobby magazines that I'd like to catch up on. If I feel a little more energetic later I'll try to put a few steps in, but don't count on it :|
